Vermeer 504 series L Round Baler

I have no further use for machine, now its just taking up space in the shed.
Has done less than 500 bales on Brand new $3000 set of belts.
Digital monitor in cab displays bale size, bale shape gauge to assist making nice even bales, bale density gauge, chamber alarm - one beep = bale in chamber nearing size then one constant beep for a few seconds signals bale size reached , auto stringing of the bale then kicks in. String operation also has manual mode if thats you're thing.
2 stage bale chamber makes picking up the windrow easy as you start to form the core for a new bale then passes to the main chamber to finish the job
Pick up rebuilt around the same time. Shaft and roller bearings all fine. String only, has dual string arms to speed up the process, probably wouldn't hurt to re-bush pivots on string arms, before putting it in to work, they all easy enough to get at.
Now, here comes the bad news.......do not even think about trying to make pure vetch hay bales with it.
The thing has done my head in.
No matter what settings Ive tried or how much I've swore at it, 9.99 times outa 10 the mongrel thing will plug the pickup straight away or start forming the core then plug the pickup AND the main chamber on transition.
So, you're either laying in the dirt under the pickup trying to hook this brick of vetch out at 3am, or inside the bale chamber trying to pull it out of the pickup rollers the other way. NOT GOOD EITHER WAY!!!
The Good News is.......It absolutely hammers thru ryegrass, pasture, wheat or Barley hay, even 1/3 vetch in any of that material will not bother it as long as the soft start spring pressures and main chamber belt pressures are set up right.
In big rows of this stuff that the tractor can barley get over I've had nights where it will do 75-80 bales an hour if you have a crack.
One second hand round baler that is what it is $4400 inc GST, Firm on that price, no offers.
Have a heap of Twine that can go with it to.
