ANGUS & RED ANGUS HERD BULLS AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE SALE
From an established Red Angus Stud with over 40 years of breeding experience, selecting for carcass and maternal traits with low birth weights (26-29kgs). Mayo's female line has been heavily infused with legendary US and Canadian sires for frame and marbling, including:

There have been two female lines that have had a large influence in our herd. Both were transferred from top studs in NZ to studs in Australia: Te Mania Barunah M77 and Forres Doris U31. Both these cows were hugely influential in Angus cattle in Australia.
Our sale bulls, along with 7 steers with similar genetics, were in a grass paddock with access to a silage/grain grower ration for 138 days. Two of the steers were entered into an MSA standard carcass competition on May 24th 2023 and achieved a 2nd and 3rd placing. This was a creditable result given that the steers were only on a grower ration, not finisher, and also the fact that they were running with bulls and may have had less access to feed as a result.
The 22 bulls available for private sale range in age from 13-18 months resulting in a varied response to the ration, with a maximum ADG of 1.7kg/day over 138 days (4/01/23 to 22/05/23). Scheduled to be vet checked for fertility and up to date with 3 germ blood, 5in1, Piliguard and Ivermectin treatment. From a property with a registered PIC in a Tick-Free area.
