Mount Hunter NSW
Maggie was sold to us as unbroken however she has been saddled and my son has ridden her as a lead line. It won’t take a knowledgeable horse person long to finish off her breaking. My 6 year old can confidently lead, wash, brush and catch Maggie and she’s the type of pony you can trust to look after your child. My son has spent many hours leading her around our property and she will safely follow him anywhere but will make him work if he’s not paying attention. Their favourite game to play is hide and seek in her paddock! She likes to protest when getting her hooves done by the farrier however after a few minutes she will accept defeat and stand nicely. She is happy to be paddocked on her own and holds her own with the bigger horses and occasionally will be put in with the sheep. She lunges well and will literally jump anything you point her at. My son grew more quickly than I anticipated and although we would love to keep her she will only go to waste and would make another smaller child great little pony. She runs in the smell of grass so no feeding required while the grass is green! We are moving in the next week or two so a quick sale is required. Maggie is located at Mount Hunter NSW and will be sold with her saddle, bridle, saddle blanket and halter.
