The ewes are a mix of Red and Black tags, the Red Tags are by "Allaye" rams and the Black Tags are from "Tattykeel" rams.
When I picked the ewes up in Jan of this year, 80% had fully shedded, I've noticed over the winter some of the ewes are looking a bit shaggy.
On the 15th Fed, We joined the madden ewes to "Balmattum" rams, Richard Boadle from Euroa. A very clean Aussie White Ram.
We have had a very successful lambing, and the drop on the ground has been marked and vaccinated on 21st August.
The Ewes were drenched with Ewes guard with B12 on the 2nd June.
"Portsea Estate" is planning to sell 25 Aussie White Ewes with about 20 lambs at foot, We are running the ewes under Vineyard and Orchard conditions, and the 25 are surplus to our needs.
