Description
Purchased new in 2019, this unit is unique in that it has the rear hopper split into 2 parts, so you can hold/blend 3 products.
It sits on a 3.5mt trailer, fitted with 4 wheel electric brakes and also a "break-away" is fitted.
I have just had new auger flights fitted with new liners and bearings, plus the wheel bearings were done only a few months ago.
Each hopper has its own remote control slide as well as the auger activation is also remotely controlled.
Black-Jack electric jack fitted - new battery, along with Anderson plug to charge battery from vehicle.
Ring type trailer coupling -and internally there are screens fitted into each hopper so you can stand inside with the remotes and adjust the blend flow rate as you auger mixes out.
It also has steps fitted to the front for accessing the hoppers.
Lastly it is fitted with scales so that you can monitor the qty added to each hopper (sequentially).
A new single hopper FarmPro trailer is around $20k, - whereas here you get 3.5 tonne capacity, scales, remotes and new flights etc.
I was so impressed with this trailer that I purchased a new 6.5 tonne (almost double the size) field bin on a purpose built trailer , so this trailer needs a new home. It cost $34k when new - steel has increased a lot since then.....
