John Deere Pro-12 VRS cotton heads off a John Deere 9996 Cotton Picker. Heads have only been used to harvest 75ha of cotton in 2016 and are in near new condition.
These heads contain many parts used on Pro-16 heads and would be a cheap source of spares for anyone running Pro-16s.
PRO-12 VariRow System™ (VRS) picking units feature the following:
18-spindle high, 12-bar front and rear drum design.
Cutter and feeder assembly that allows each unit to harvest two 15-in. rows by cutting one of the rows off and diverting it into the standing row.
Ability to harvest 15-, 30-, 32-, 36-, 38-, and 40-in. row spacings
