The mill is designed to process scoured fibre through to yarn and anything in between. 

Ideal for a variety of fibre types including wool and alpaca. 

Equipment was imported from USA and is of a high quality and in as new condition. Ill health and family commitments have forced this sale. Additional equipment can be purchased from Canada to manage the washing scouring process or scouring can be done in bulk, off farm. 

The mill comprises:

Picker - to open fibre

Fibre separater - for removing hair or primary fibre and light VM as required (ideal for alpaca)

Carder - heart of the mill - to align and comb fibre

Pin drafter - further align fibre and prepare for spinning

Spinner - spin to yarn singles

Plyer - ply singles into plied yarn

Skein winder - to wind yarn into measures skeins for washing, dying or direct sale

Cone wonder - wind yarn into cones for knitting machine use
