1992 L9000 Prime mover

This truck was owned by my wife's father. It spent its life running grain from Riverina/Melbourne and in later years doing dairy farm deliveries for Kelly Grains in Finley until retirement. It would make a great farm truck, second harvest vehicle for 2024, etc. We have a handwritten maintenance notebook with all the dates of repairs, rebuilds, replacements he made (Full on Trucks Shepparton did all his work) from 2007 but not sure on actual ks its done (speedo shows 1.4 million but it will be more). To the best of my knowledge description is as follows. New DDEC 4 Detroit fitted in 07 same engine heads and cam rebuilt replaced in 2013, rebuilt 15 speed OD, both diffs and power divider done at some stage, cleanskin tyres are ok most probably pass roadworthy, PTO Hydraulics, chrome rims ( bit rusty but will clean up) fat offsets on steer, good batteries, drives like a reliable old owner operators truck should. Things to be aware of, bunk sock is no good, small amount of rust in bottom of drivers door ( about 3 inches long but not through the door skin only in seam at bottom of door). Accessory and bunk lights need looking at but headlights/tank and bullbar lights work. Interior is as should be expected for a truck this age and presents neatly, AC works well as do the jakes and Horton. As mentioned it would make a great harvest truck or second vehicle but I wouldn't be running Melb/ Brisbane express in it.
It presents like a 1996 truck that was parked in a shed all its life but for the last few years been camping outside (we don't have a shed big enough). A wash and vigorous brooming brings it up good enough that its not the worst looking truck in the silo line up. Happy to answer any questions you may have and will do so honestly.
