By Ron McCalman - Agfarm CEO
As you are no doubt aware Australia boasts a rapidly evolving agribusiness economy and one which Agfarm has had to continually adapt to for over 25 years.
As the Australian grains sector continues to evolve post export market deregulation in 2008, the industry has witnessed substantial market consolidation and advances in online technology.
As a result of these changes Agfarm has seen a significant decline in the demand for grain broking services and have made the decision to cease operating this part of our business.
Agfarm will continue to concentrate on its evolving finance, managed products and merchandise business.
