I just thought I would touch base, there is a massive amount of misinformation out there at the moment on social media. We all know there are also people who have no clue what they are talking about. All of this talk of record cold winter is simply not going to happen. Cold night that are freezing cold are normal, and the relative humidity is what determines how cold it gets every night.
Let's not forget, you have to also factor in daytime temps, and put the two together. Once that's done, we have very little chance of being anywhere near a record cold winter. The other thing I want to bring to your attention is the global warming debate. The same person who is talking up this record cold also says global warming is happening, and Co2 is responsible. Unfortunately, that is also a load of shit, man-made climate change is a hoax, and everyone knows it.
Co2 makes up 0.04% of the atmosphere, however, our temps respond to water vapour changes, which makes up 97.4% of the Greenhouse gases on Earth. If you look in the picture I have attached of the global temperatures, the areas that are above normal are the Arctic and Antarctic, does anyone know why? Because where its very cold, minus 60 and minus 40 respectively, only a very small increase in water vapour makes a huge difference to temperatures. Where we live, the temps are almost balanced out.
If you want to be serious about you do, you need to know your stuff, and I certainly do, which is why I am ahead of climate models by 6 months, as they also have global warming as a key ingredient to their outputs. And yet again, they are forecasting an El Nino to come later this year, and let's see what happens. As far as sunspots go, low sunspots do not cause 600 mm of rainfall in Townsville, the monsoon trough as does the increase in water vapour. The temperatures of the oceans we see today are around 150 years of Solar energy put into them, so we have a lot of natural warming to come.
Lastly, the Little Ice Age theory is being put out there by Solar people, whilst its true a quiet sun brings less energy to Earth, we won't see the effects for decades, if not centuries. The real reason they are pushing it is because the Atlantic and Pacific are about to go into the 20- 30 year cold phase, so the global temps will drop within 10 - 15 years to below normal, but nowhere near Little Ice Age temps.
So I just wanted to share that with everyone, everything happens for a reason and the increase in CO2 and low sunspots are only tiny, tiny fraction of the equation, the oceans hold 1000 times the energy and heat capacity of the atmosphere and run the climate with water vapour.
