AWB and GrainFlow commit to 2 day payment terms

AWB and GrainFlow are committed to bringing value for our customers – shortening of payment terms where we are confident we can deliver on that commitment is one of the ways we are creating more value for our customers today and into the future.

As a permanent payment change, starting with this season, all forward contracts and direct deliveries against an AWB contract or an AWB cash price delivered into a GrainFlow site will have the new 2 business day payment terms applied.

Grainflow payment terms
AWB are very focused on committing to our 2 day payment terms and the whole AWB customer service team are cross training in-order to efficiently manage ticket processing errors. Ticket details not matching contract details are the main reason for delays on payments for contracts.

Therefore it’s important when receiving your contract details to check and make sure they’re correct. The easiest and common things to look out for when checking your contract is making sure the grade you plan to deliver is consistent with the contract, and ensuring that upon delivery to a GrainFlow site, you’re delivering with the same NGR on the contract you’re intending to deliver on. In cases of a multi-grade contract, sometimes a different grade is delivered on a multi-grade that does not have a spread, and this too can sometimes cause delays in payments.

AWB understand accidental errors can happen, we’re all human! So that’s why we have monitoring reports in place that highlight to our customer service team when and where delivery details do not match contract details. With the team’s cross training complete and our monitoring systems in place, we have every confidence that we will continue to record a payment performance of 99 percent on time which we achieved during last year’s harvest
