Bendigo Sheep and Lamb 10/09/18
LAMB
Numbers remained similar to the previous week. The sale started off cheaper but becoming firm to dearer as the sale progressed. Suckers with dryer skins sold tough enough any greasier types sold to strong demand.
OLD LAMBS
Heavy lambs-$225-$256, $7.90-$8.00c/kg firm to slightly dearer
Heavy Trade Lambs-$235-$240, $8.10c/kg-$8.20c/kg firm slightly dearer
Trade lambs $190-$235, $8.20c/kg-$8.30c/kg firm
SUCKER LAMBS
Heavy lambs $229-$252, $8.30c/kg-$9.00 firm to slightly dearer on fresher types
Trade lambs $175-$229, $8.40c/kg- $8.50c/kg firm to slightly dearer.
Merino lambs- $80-$188, $6.80c/kg-$7.100c/kg quality was mixed better lambs selling $10 dearer
SHEEP
Sheep numbers remained similar to last week on a firm to slightly dearer market. A bigger run of Merino Ewes were offered, selling to strong demand.
Crossbred Ewes $115 -$185, firm to slightly dearer
Merino Wethers $100-$186, $5-$8 dearer
Merino Ewes $100-$160, firm slightly dearer
Lighter end sheep $85-$107, $10-$15 dearer
