EOI for 1622ha in South Australia's sought after Eyre Peninsula

CBRE Agribusiness has been appointed to market a mixed farming operation located near Kimba on the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.

Hillridge is located around 28km east from Kimba and 455km from Adelaide. The property comprises a total land area of approximately 1,622ha – of which, 1,414ha is arable.  

Originally part of ‘Hillridge Stud’, the land was cleared and developed for running merino sheep and grain production by Mr. George Woolford in the 1970s. Hillridge was initially established as the sister stud to ‘Greenfields Stud’, located in South Australia’s Mid North.

Hillridge is being offered for sale as one package or as two separate land parcels (contingent upon the sale of the other) – Hillridge West and Hillridge Home Block. These parcels are differentiated by separate Certificates of Title, legally described as:
   * Hillridge Home Block: Certificate of Title Volume 5929 Folio 714 (approximately 1,008ha)
   * Hillridge West: Certificate of Title Volume 5956 Folio 994 (approximately 613ha)

The property, which is currently leased, features quality improvements including a two-bedroom residence, two stand shearing shed, steel sheep yards, five seed silos, hay shed and an implement shed.

The Kimba region receives an annual rainfall of 350mm (BOM), the property draws water from the Barna Water Scheme for livestock, crop spraying and domestic purposes.

CBRE’s Phil Schell and Angus Bills have been appointed to negotiate the sale.
