Ex Mallee boy turn Kiwi - I listened to The Rural Sales Show Podcast this morning, which features Aussie turned Kiwi Mark “Ferg” Ferguson. Take a listen here.
Ferg is originally from a mixed Farm near Hopetoun in the Mallee area of Victoria. The podcast gives us a bit of insight into how he runs his neXtgen AGRI business, which provides a wide range of services to the Livestock industries here and in New Zealand.

We will always promote anyone who does good things within the Ag industry. Although I don’t know much about the consulting side of things, I do know his level of commitment to content and providing Farmers with takeaway information through his podcast and his writing through his blog (The Hub).
He gave us an insight into how he manages his time and always, without fail, gets his podcast out every Monday and his newsletter every Friday, no matter where he is. He has an exhausting travel itinerary and work ethic but manages to fit all these commitments in-between time. It’s a great lesson for all of us on time management and how to go that extra mile that sets you apart from the pack. Like most that were born and bred in the Mallee, this former one has a big tank. This story is well worth a listen. What are some of the tricks you use to manage your time? Reply to dwaind@farmtender.com.au
