It's that time of year again where we start to play the Urea game... There are a number of ways to win and lose the Urea game, lock it in early and miss out on a price drop or lock it in early and beat an increase, lock it in early and ensure supply when you need it, secure it early and still be made to wait for the next ship, hold off in the hope of a good price, get a great price but you are unable to access it when you need it. When it comes to this time of year, we are always up against so many ifs and buts when it comes to securing Urea.

There are some things we can do now to be proactive to try and avoid the same issues that we had last year:

1. If you want to be sorted early, think about locking in a portion of what you will require for June/July/August now.
2. Sign up to our weekly fertiliser text to keep an eye on the price and availability (send "Fert Text Please" to 0418137224), this is sent out every Tuesday.
3. Keep an eye on the Fert prices in Dwain's daily email published on a Thursday.
4. Get in touch and advise indicative quantities and when required, we will collate a list of what is required and keep you up to date.
5. Contact your Freight and let them know in advance when you will require their services, this way they can factor these loads for the time that is required. Or we are able to arrange the freight for you.
