Fox & Lillie Rural are pleased to announce the opening of their new brokerage, AWTA testing and direct buying woolstore operation in Wellington, New South Wales.
Fox & Lillie Rural is a dynamic and customer focused wool brokerage business and part of the Australian, family owned Fox & Lillie group. Fox & Lillie Rural is supported by its parent company, one of Australia’s largest buyers and exporters, Fox & Lillie, which provides important benefits and unique selling opportunities for the woolgrowers in the Wellington and surrounding regions. Fox & Lillie just recently celebrated 70 years in the wool business.
“The integration of the two businesses connects the company to a great network of Australian woolgrowers, wool users and mills all over the world and we look forward to utilising the connections to establish relationships to benefit our woolgrower clients.” says Wool Brokerage Manager, Eamon Timms.

“The Wellington region provides an exciting opportunity for our company to connect with a wider network of woolgrowers around the Wellington and surrounding areas.” says Jonathan Lillie, Managing Director.
Woolgrowers will now be able to take advantage of the fully certified AWTA testing line at the Wellington store with the convenience of local delivery and storage which will bring greater support to the local district. In addition, woolgrowers have the opportunity to sell all types of wool at the store in large or small quantities.
The expansion has seen Chris Dennis join the team as the Central West Wool Manager. Chris has a wealth of knowledge and experience managing national and on-farm ram sales, wool marketing and classing, as well as working within the fertilizer, ag-finance and more recently the NSW State Government, managing business, economic and regional development.
“I am very excited to be joining a progressive family owned business, like Fox & Lillie Rural. The company has been in the industry for over 70 years and what I’ve found most impressive is the level of respect held for Fox & Lillie Rural by woolgrowers.” says Chris.
“Fox & Lillie Rural has the full range of wool marketing options and some the best technical staff in the industry. The opening of the facility in Wellington is a great opportunity for the diverse and progressive wool producers of the Central West to add real value to their clip.” says Chris.
Chris is joined by Wool Marketing Representative, Kellsie Turner who has a background in woolclassing and contract livestock handling. Kellsie has spent the past year working at Fox & Lillie Rural in various divisions and locations, gaining experience in the all facets of the company.
