Hassad sells Clover Downs

Hassad has sold the iconic Cunnamulla District Property "Clover Downs" for a reported $27 million. The buyer was Farmer Bill Zell.
The 125,000-hectare grazing property was in the Hassad portfolio for about seven years after it was purchased from Clyde Agriculture for $18.5 million. Significant improvements have been done under Hassad's reign.
Hassad confirmed a change of direction for the company. Its original focus was food security, but a shift in focus is now on overall investment return. They are looking at "down the line" operations as well as marketing of products.
