How many Tractors? On the Family Farm at Marnoo in Victoria, my Grandfather "Errol" used to have 13 Chamberlain Tractors. The ones with the hand clutch, which you entered the cabin from the rear. I think they were the Super 90 model. 

Unfortunately, my Grandfather died of a heart attack aged 55. So I didn't get to ask him why he had 13 Tractors that were all the same. Anyway, upon his passing, the old man "Kenneth" had a clearing sale and sold all the Tractors. 

After that, we bought a new state-of-the-art Massey Ferguson 1505 articulated 4wd beast of the thing that we thought was the bee's knees. Light years ahead of the old Chamberlains. Boy, we did some hours with that Tractor.

History has now repeated itself. Many Farms now boast a wide range of Tractors. There seems like there's a Tractor for every Implement. There's one for the Seeder, one for the Chaser Bin, one for the Baler, one for the Auger, and one at the other Property 20km away. Oh, and a Telehandler as well. Now I get a better understanding of my Grandfather's "why".
