Is the Landcruiser immune? I was talking to as person I respect in the used Car game, and all the indicators are that the used car market is about to go into free fall. The writing is on the wall with stock levels (not inventory levels) climbing.

One person said this: "In the middle of COVID-19, there were about 130,000 Cars for sale Australia-wide on the Car Sales website. Right now, there are over 250,000 Cars for sale on the same website, not to mention the higher-than-normal number of Cars for sale on roadsides."

It's the old supply and demand and that sort of increase will push prices down.

But the big question is. Will the Toyota Landcruiser be immune? We had a huge run on second-hand Landcruisers during and after Covid. I remember we had one listed for around $120k, which someone had secured, and another person rang one of our sales guys offering $20k more if he could have it. It was first in best dressed, but those heady times look like they are over. Even for the much-sort-after Landcruiser, unless of course it’s a V8.
