Mecardo Analysis - Weekly Wool Forwards for week ending 23rd November 2018

The forwards market had another steady week of activity, falling in line with a steady AU$. Six contracts traded in total across mid and course fibre categories.

In the 19 mpg, a contract for May 2019 traded at 2,100¢. Looking further out, contracts set to mature in October and November 2019 traded at 1,950¢ and 1,960¢, respectively.

In the 21 micron category, February 2019 traded at 2,100¢, while May 2019 traded at 2,050¢.

One contract for course wool also traded, at 710¢ for 30 micron set to mature in February 2019.
