Some of the questions we want to fire at David might include:

  • Where do you Farm, and what do you Farm?
  • What is the main thing occupying your mind right now?
  • Regarding the NFF, how is it funded? How many are working there right now?
  • You've been very vocal on what I call some of the anti-Farming topics that the Government throw at us. Do you feel it's your main role to defend Farmers against some of these proposed policies?
  • Do you think we have more issues on the table to fight than ever before?
  • Do the EU protest give you hope that the world might have to stop going hard for these environmental outcomes?
  • Do you think this blatant push for Renewable Energy to be the only source of Energy in the future is fraught with danger? Is it something our country can't afford?
  • What do you think is the best way for Farmers to fight these numerous Renewable Energy projects?
  • Should any future power lines be underground?
  • Do you have a team of advisers to help you formulate responses to the issues we are facing? How does that work?
  • We are in an era of having Agriculture Ministers at the State and Federal levels with no Agricultural experience. How big of a disadvantage is that?
  • Do you get the feeling the current Government doesn't get Agriculture and its importance to the nation?
  • You mentioned in your first speech that "They (the Government) will own every farm closure, every school struggling to stay open as families leave town, every extra dollar Australians are forced to hand over for their weekly shop". I love that statement, but how do we get them to own it?
  • How important is the media (mainstream and Rural) in getting these issues out to the public domain?
  • What are some of the key issues you are working on right now?
  • Do you have any comment as to what's going on at the VFF?
