I studied Wool and fibre marketing at Melbourne College of Textiles many years ago and have since had a job that involves design whilst running a Farm. I have always maintained my passion for Wool and Agriculture and have always wanted to make something in Australia that is well-designed and comes from our Farm. 

After many years of thought and some false starts, we settled on baby and children’s clothes as there are so many benefits of Wool for children:

• Wool absorbs up to 35% of its own weight before it feels wet
• Wool thermo regulates; if it is hot, it will keep you cool, and if it is cool, it will keep you warm.
• Wool is resistant to odours and stains due to its ability to breathe.
• Wool does not have to be washed as often as it naturally inhibits odours.
• Wool is flame-resistant
• Wool is resistant to mould, mildew, bacteria and dust, which helps children with allergies or asthma.

Apart from all the benefits above, there are environmental benefits like the fact that:

• Our products do not have one single synthetic fibre in them; even our labels, buttons and thread are made from organic materials.
• When our Woollen garments are finished after many years of use, they break down into carbon, sulphur and nitrogen in the soil with no chemical residues.
• Wool is grown from sunshine, grass, fresh air and water.
• Wool is completely renewable; every minute, our Sheep are growing fibre that is environmentally friendly.

Our products are well-designed, well made and traceable throughout the whole process. 

Our Wool is grown on our Farm is scoured in Geelong, yarn production in done in New Zealand and the garments are made back in Australia. All the Wool in our garments is controlled along the production to ensure that the end product is to the highest standard that we can possibly provide. By having control over the production line we know our Wool is not blended and is only the best quality fleeces. This will increase the quality and lifespan of our garments.

Although we are only in the early days of running this business, we have started with blankets, scarves and beanies. With jumpers to come into production soon.
