Want to make a difference to Grain Growing in WA?

“If you really care about your industry and co-operative, the GAC is a great opportunity for growers to demonstrate their passion and have direct input into their co-operative.

"I strongly encourage growers of all ages and agricultural interests to get involved and make a difference.” CBH Group Chairman Wally Newman

The Growers Advisory Council is comprised of Western Australian grain growers who have a genuine desire and commitment to see the CBH Group continue to develop into Australia's leading grain business. It supports the CBH Group in a range of areas, including:

   * The provision of a formal mechanism for issues raised by growers to be fed back to the CBH Group (via the Council).
   * Acting as a grower advocacy group so that the CBH Group can better communicate with growers.
   * Considering issues of a strategic nature to the industry.
   * Making appropriate comments and recommendations to the CBH Group Board and/or management on issues impacting on growers.

The 2018 nominations are open and WA grain growers are encouraged to nominate for one of 6 positions available on the GAC.

Council positions are held for a period of 3 years with Councillors expected to attend meetings 4 times a year in Perth, with reasonable accommodation and travel expenses paid for.

If you are interested in nominating, please submit your application addressing the Selection Criteria and provide 5 grower referees.

Nominations close 12pm, 30 March 2018.
