When Donald Ducked - We all know what happened over the weekend, and unbelievably, it probably sealed old Trump's passage to the White House. We were living in America when he first got elected, and it was pandemonium, to say the least. Everyone in the States was glued to a TV, watching it play out. We were living in Austin, Texas, at the time, and he was pretty popular there for some reason.

We had our failed 55 Farms (the American version of Farm Tender) website going then, we were dealing with many Farmers, and the US Farming fraternity was in general support of Trump.

Over the weekend, I saw a couple of Aussie Farmers getting involved in the Trump/Biden thing on X (Twitter) and taking sides with Donald. One of the Farmers said, "If you don't like Trump, I have an unfollow button. We need to stop being quiet; this man is for the people.

I am all for refining your audience, and this shore as hell works because it created a lot of debate for this young Farmer. I'm not sure about putting your political allegiances out in public. For me, I am not a great follower of politics, so as a subject, I will leave it alone. And I couldn’t be bothered debating the ins and outs of it all. Yes, we are active in talking about policy when it's related to Agriculture, but that's for the love of the (Agriculture) game and sticking up for Farmers. Are you comfortable putting your political allegiances out there? Reply to dwaind@farmtender.com.au
