Queensland’s Arcadia Valley property is being offered for sale

An extensive pastoral landholding located within the heart of Queensland’s Arcadia Valley is being offered for sale by auction, through JLL’s Agribusiness directors Chris Holgar and Geoff Warriner.

Leeora Downs is situated within the tick fee zone approximately 65 lineal kilometres south of Rolleston and approximately 160 lineal kilometres north of Roma and has a total land area of 3,560 hectares over a single Freehold Certificate of Title.

Mr Warriner said: “Leeora Downs exhibits all the hallmarks of a productive pastoral landholding underpinned by practical operational infrastructure, secure water resources, highly productive pastures and extensive arable areas totaling approximately 1,000 hectares.

“The consistent brigalow/Belah softwood scrub soils are highly productive and what makes the Arcadia Valley one of the most sought after regions in Australia,” he said.

Mr Holgar said: “Leeora Downs’ proximity to both the Dawson and Carnarvon Highways provides ease of access to Rolleston, Roma and end-markets located to the east and south.

“Operationally, Leeora Downs benefits from an established homestead complex and cottage, near new steel cattle yards and a water reticulation system complemented by overland flow dams providing a high level of water security,” said Mr Holgar.

Leeora Downs is offered for sale on a bare basis by auction at 10am on Wednesday 29th April 2020 if not sold prior.
